French climate tech startups at CES 2023 were particularly well represented… Here are my impressions of CES 2023 in Las Vegas with a particular focus on these companies that I was able to observe with great interest. Many “non-French” meetings also of course… but I wanted to reserve this post for French companies present in Las Vegas…
An impressive Show with fewer ”gadgets” than expected!
Impressive attendance (125,000 visitors, 4,200 stands) at the various sites across the city. I will particularly note the place taken by innovations based on AI (all sectors) and especially the very strong representation of Medtech and the sport/well-being sector. Gadget innovations? Yes sometimes of course, but not as much as I thought. Obviously, I took a much closer look at the companies present in the Greentech Climate tech and I was not disappointed.
France particularly well represented
Frankly, the French delegation was particularly impressive with nearly 170 startups! Congratulations to La French Tech / Business France who really put forward French innovation to potential partners and investors. A few VIPs such as Jean-Noël Barrot, Minister Delegate in charge of the digital transition and telecommunications, Valérie Pécresse, President of the Paris-Île-de-France region, and Carole Delga, President of the Occitanie region even made the trip to support the French startups.
A small selection of French Climate Tech startups and a few other deep tech players caught my attention.
✅ CEA avec une sélection de startups

✅ Vidmizer Greenencoder
If I hesitated to participate in CES 2023, I am finally delighted to have made the trip from Vancouver to discover this absolutely incredible show… even if it means a very bad start to the year for my carbon footprint… Startups French climate tech companies at CES 2023 were particularly well represented. Very impressive.
